Electronic Technician | Lab Technician |St. Paul, MN  $15.00 - $22.50
Growing medical device manufacturing company in the St. Paul, MN area is seeking an Electronic Technician to join their team.  In this role, you will perform a variety of duties in a lab setting including: electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, chemical, or optical areas.
You'll also get to:
• Constructs, operates, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, maintains and/or tests equipment, systems or products.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
• Performs tests, analyzes data and writes reports
• Reviews or develops processing instructions.
• Maintains detailed documentation through all phases of testing and/or analysis.
• May assist in the transfer of technology and/or contribute in cross-functional discussions regarding device performance allegations.
• Retrieve and unpack product being returned for scrap, analysis or archive
• Complete visual inspections of returned product
• Create/maintain accurate data entry into complaint management system for inspected returned product
• Assist in database transactions and correct error log reports 
• Monitor inventory levels & locations of product in the archive area 
• Assist in product decontamination and routing products to Complaint Investigation Site lab
• Monitor externally manufactured product returns & route to vendors for analysis in a timely manner
• Assist in the calibration & maintenance of equipment in the Returns, Device and Analysis department
• Respond to internal and external customer queries concerning product location or credit 

Job Requirements


You'll Bring:

• AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience
• Knowledge in the use of electronic test equipment such as oscilloscope, digital volt meter, function generator, high voltage sources, etc.
• Excellent documentation skills
• Knowledge of electronic principles and ability to read and comprehend work instructions, schematics and design documentation
• Critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem solving ability
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Self-Motivated to seek out opportunities to improve business performance
• Experience working in Laboratory setting preferred
• Experience Troubleshooting electronic component issues
• Previous experience working with medical products in a regulated environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft desktop environment: Windows, Word and Outlook
• Experience with equipment calibration processes is preferred
