Konik PrimeStaff is partnering with a growing and innovative client located in Saint Paul that is seeking to add an Inventory Manager to their team. In this role you will be responsible for managing all inventory levels, accuracy, and obsolescence for their local facility while also providing direct oversight to additional inventory-related employees. Our client is a leader in their industry with a host of capabilities and locations across the country. Inventory Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventories that include finished goods and raw materials, ensuring required inventory minimums are met while also overseeing inventory obsolescence
  • Directly supervise direct report employees, as well as providing direction to additional employees that have an impact upon inventory
  • Provide reports to management as required regarding inventory levels, inventory obsolescence, and other inventory related items
  • Communicate with sales, customer service, and management regarding any inventory related issues; review all raw materials and work with estimating, job planning, and customer service to use raw materials and minimize waste
  • Work with accounting to properly cot materials in inventory

 
Job Requirements

 

Inventory Manager Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, management or similar required
  • 3+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or distribution company in an inventory management role required
  • APICS certifications a plus
  • Familiarity with raw materials, ISO 9001, and Lan Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Inventory Control Processes and general business, finance, and management principles
  • Proven computer skills and comfort level using Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel) and ERP systems
