Job Description
Senior Project Architect
As a Senior Project Architect you will act in an Owner’s Representative role for the Architecture Department taking ownership of work, process and design.  In this role you will establish strong stakeholder relationships by understanding their needs and challenges, evaluate and document existing conditions, and create functional, economical, constructible and quality project solutions.   
  • Prepare construction documents, calculations and project specifications for a high volume of small design build projects.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate assigned projects between all disciplines and parties
  • Provide technical support, construction support and coordination site observation, punch list and final inspections
  • Provide code analysis, review and interpretation
  • Investigate and verify existing building and physical infrastructure to identify and coordinate conditions affecting the proposed project and the impact of project designs on existing systems.
  • Provide technical direction and mentoring to architectural staff
  • Review designs and documents prepared by internal staff and outside consultants
  • Be accountable for the quality of service and profitability on assigned projects.
Job Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited Architecture program
  • Licensed Architect in the State of Minnesota or eligible for reciprocity
  • 15+ years of progressive and comprehensive architectural experience
  • Proficient with AutoCAD
  • Exceptional technical and problem solving design skills with a variety of building types
  • Previous supervisory experience 
  • Have the demonstrated ability to estimate project design budgets and schedules from inception through completion and closeout
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
